The feature has been made available in Brazil, Germany, India, Indonesia, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the U.S, on both Android and iOS.

WhatsApp Business was created to make it easier for small businesses to stay in touch with customers with tools including automatic replies to common questions. With chats and now catalogs, all that WhatsApp has to do is enable payments on the platform, and its Business app might become a full-blown, powerful e-commerce marketplace. Previously, businesses on the app could only share product photos and information with customers one at a time.

WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging apps in the world. The new feature will allow small business to showcase and share their goods to their customers through the application.

Facebook has been constantly pushing ecommerce features on its popular messaging platform WhatsApp.

The "Catalogs" page looks like a regular online storefront with products listed along with details. With this feature, businesses will be able to create a catalog of their products and services and showcase them to users. WhatsApp states that the whole goal of WhatsApp catalogs is to showcase and share what products and services businesses offer.

According to WhatsApp, it hosts these catalogs to save valuable storage space on the phones of both businesses and customers. It is now rolling out in Brazil, Germany, India, Indonesia, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and the US. Tap on it and share the products with your customers.
