Wheel of Fortune was forced to pull the plug on taping Thursday after Sajak was hospitalized with a blocked intestine.
Vanna White stepped in to host "Wheel of Fortune" after host Pat Sajak had emergency surgery, according to the show's Twitter account. Taping resumed today and veteran sidekick Vanna White assumed the hosting duties. The procedure was successful, and Vanna White will step in as host in his absence while he recovers.
