Donald Trump Jr., Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar Clash On The View

President Trump's eldest son joined "Hannity" on Thursday night to discuss his sit-down on the ABC show, where he defended his Twitter outing of the whistleblower who sparked the impeachment inquiry against his father, according to Fox News.

Trump Jr.: We're talking about character.

"Well, I know why you're there".

Meghan McCain and Joy Behar might be sparring partners on The View, but that doesn't mean they don't get along.

Then he swiped once more at The View co-hosts: "I think the title speaks for itself, because they were obviously triggered".

"It doesn't matter that much to me ... Or Kim for that matter".

Meghan McCain is one of the fieriest co-hosts The View has ever had.

Trump was not invited to McCain's funeral, and since his loss of life has continued slamming him at rallies for not voting to repeal ObamaCare.

It all began after a host of the show questioned the president's character and his habit of personal attacks against his critics, reports People Magazine.

"Plenty of People in politics miss character", McCain mentioned in the future of a rare second of restful. And a lot of people miss the soul of this country...does all of this make you feel good?

"When he's under attack by the same people, when he's under attack by the establishment, when he's under attack by this".

"And as a conservative, I would hope that you would appreciate that conservatives haven't been known for fighting back for a very long time", he argued to Meghan. They've ceded ground to the liberals and the liberal elite for decades by not actually fighting back. "I think that there's mutual respect for that".

"I think the person who's doing this and their publisher should 100 percent put their name on this", she said.

Trump and Guilfoyle made a spirited defense of the Trump presidency, rejecting the moral equivalence of a Trump hotel operating in Washington, DC with Hunter Biden sitting on a board of a Ukrainian gas company while his father was vice-president. "They did have differences, I agree with that".

"We've all done things that we regret", he said, defending his father's rhetoric.

"No, I have not!"

When Behar brought up his father's statements and mockery of "Mexican rapists", the handicapped, the Access Hollywood genitalia grabbing scanda, and insisting that Americans "don't want a country like that", Trump launched into the blackface accusation and Polanski.

Joy: I did not wear Blackface, please.

"No, she was not in blackface". Goldberg, who'd spent most the segment imploring everyone to stop talking over one another, stopped him right there: "He's the president", she said. His wife Cindy McCain said in 2018 that she didn't want President Trump at her husband's funeral because she wanted to hold it "with dignity". She understands this world and unfortunately my world has drastically changed from what I was used to before politics, and everything to be able to do this, ' he said.

After a lot of back-and-forth between Donald Jr., Meghan and the other women at the table, including Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Donald Jr.'s girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, the subject turned to Meghan's late father, Senator John McCain, and what the president said about him in the past. Trump said no, and then launched into how the media attacks his father's character.

In 2009, on the same show Goldberg had said about the Polanski incident that "it wasn't rape-rape".

"I know it wasn't rape-rape".
