Recently, Instagram has also rolled out a new mode called "Restrict" globally that will let users stop people who bully them via offensive posts or abusive comments.
Accessible via the app's heart icon, the Following tab sits alongside the "You" tab, which shows all new Likes, comments, and follows for your own account.
Instagram is constantly adding new features and testing others but this week the Facebook-owned social media platform has chose to remove one of its oldest and most controversial features., Instagram has begun removing the "Following" tab from its Activity feed.More news: 'Ferrari' Matsushima puts Japan in driving seat at Rugby World Cup

Vishal Shah, Instagram's product manager, told the BuzzFeed website that this feature will be removed in a future update. "So you have a case where it's not serving the use case you built if for, but it's also causing people to be surprised when their activity is showing up", Shah explained.
Starting this week, it will be harder to stalk people's activity on Instagram. He went on to add, "Simplicity was the driving factor".
According to Business Insider, some Instagram users noted that their following tabs had disappeared during a trial period last month. Those who knew about it used it regularly to spy on the activities of the people they follow.
