France is moving on to the FIBA World Cup semifinals after knocking off Team USA with an 89-79 victory on Wednesday. According to SportsCenter, the loss marks Team's USA's first time losing in worldwide play with National Basketball Association players on their roster since 2006 when they fell to Greece.

The Americans were always going to be susceptible inside because of the makeup of their own roster. The last time they failed to do so was back at the 2006 World Cup as they won a bronze medal. Those two teams will go head-to-head on Friday, while Team USA will face off against Nikola Jokic and Serbia in a consolation game on Thursday.
