Sridevi’s wax statue unveiled at Madame Tussauds, Singapore

The look of this wax figure is from her much-loved song "Hawa Hawai" from Mr India film. Sanjay Kapoor, who accompanied brother Boney Kapoor to Singapore, shared the first look of Sridevi's wax double on Instagram with an emotional message: "She lives in our hearts forever". Sridevi and Boney were married for over two decades. Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for her next release The Kargil Girl starring as pilot Gunjan Saxena.

Madame Tussauds Singapore unveiled late Bollywood actor Sridevi's wax statue on Wednesday. A video has surfaced on the internet im which Boney Kapoor can be seen remembering his wife and addressing the audience in a heavy voice. On the occasion of Sridevi's birthday on August 13, Madame Tussauds, Singapore, had declared that a wax statue would soon be dedicated to her. "Eagerly waiting to watch the unveiling of her figure at Madam Tussauds, Singapore on September 4", Boney tweeted.

The official Twitter handle of the museum also teased the fans earlier, with the making of the wax statue. They were all displayed on the tribute wall at the launch.

She earned critical acclaim for her performances in both films, and for the latter was posthumously awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress. At the same time we remind our readers that Sridevi left this world on 24 February 2018 and left her fans in shock and mourning, she was 54 years old when Sridevi died.
