Willie Nelson cancels some tour dates, IN show still on

It's not 100% clear if the Darien Lake show will in fact be canceled but it's safe to assume a good portion of his shows will be missed for health concerns.

"To my fans, I'm sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out", he wrote.

Nelson had been touring with Alison Krauss and was next set to take the stage in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Friday.

Willie Nelson has canceled his August tour dates because of a health issue, but he'll still be coming to IN this September.

The producers of Nelson's "Outlaw Music Festival Tour", Blackbird Presents, said Nelson's announcement only affects shows in August.

Nelson was forced to cancel his appearance at the Outlaw Music Festival and several other dates due to illness in 2018 as well.

The singer was on tour in support of his 98th studio album Ride Me Back Home, which entered the United States chart at number 18 last month. "The altitude got to me", he later explained, adding: "I am feeling better now & headed for lower ground".
