The company is now in the process of upgrading its customers from copper to fiber to compete with Jio GigaFiber.
The tariff plans would begin from Rs 700 and go up to Rs 10,000 per month depending on the plans you opt for. As per the market reports, Jio could also launch Rs 600 "Triple Play" combo plan offering unlimited voice, unlimited data, the Jio Home IPTV service, premium Jio apps and broadband connection. "Premium Jio Giga Fiber customers can watch movies at home... the same day they are released in theatres!"
Concerning television, Ambani announced that the Jio set-top box, will accept signals from local cable operators, and offer HD channels and was planning to rope in local cable operators.
All Jio Fiber plans will come with a FREE landline phone along with FREE voice calls (local+STD). The company also intends to provide unlimited ISD calling service to the U.S. and Canada from Jio landline at a fixed monthly rental of Rs. 500.
Jio Fiber subscribers will also get a mobility service, called Jio Postpaid Plus.

Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm and Reliance Industries, is all set to unveil attractive broadband-cum-TV plans under Reliance Gigafiber at the annual general meeting of Reliance Industries at 11 AM.
Ambani also revealed that the Jio GigaFiber IoT (Internet of Things) platform will be commercially available from January 1, 2020.
Jio Fiber plans will come bundled with most of OTT subscriptions. Also demoed at the event was the use-case applications Jio HoloBoard mixed reality (MR) headset, developed in collaboration with Tesseract. Further, the company announced that it aims to become net zero-debt company in the next 18 months and plans to list Reliance Jio and its retail business in the next five years. He said that Reliance and Microsoft will launch cloud data centres, offer Office 365, and Azure Cognitive Services in the country.
"Jio has made India data-shining bright".
Ambani had a couple of announcements for startups and SMBs in India as well.
The Jio GigaFiber is already available in some of the tier-1 cities for free of cost.
