Apple might update iPad Pros with three rear cameras

The blog's source also says Apple's rumored 10.2-inch iPad might come with dual rear cameras.

Like the next iPhones, the triple-lens camera would reportedly be housed in a square-shaped camera bump on the rear and consist of a main lens, 2x telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide angle lens.

It appears that several Apple products are getting the triple-lens camera treatment, including the upcoming iPad Pro. However, given that the iPad Pro line is aimed more at creative professionals than general consumers, the triple-camera setup would be a curious addition in case Apple is, indeed, planning to implement the feature. If latest rumors are anything to go by, the next-gen iPad Pro might be the next slate to get the feature. The latest iPad Pro features a 12 MP sensor at the rear.

This new entry-level iPad could have a 10.2-inch screen and may be entering mass production this fall as per a report by a Chinese news outlet.

As per the unconfirmed report, Apple is now planning to release two iPad Pro models.

Apple is widely expected to unveil three new iPhones next month, which should include two higher-end 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED models and one cheaper 6.1-inch LCD model.

Seven iPad models have been registered with the Asian Economic Commission database. If true, the 2019 iPad Pro could get top-notch photography experience similar to the rumoured iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max. Laptop Mag said that it wouldn't be too surprising to see a fifth type of iPad join the ranks in 2019, based on the EEC database filings.
