Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan's new film "Super 30", which has the Bollywood Greek God trying to do a deglam turn, had a decent start on its opening day, minting over Rs 11 crore in the domestic market according to trade reports. As indicated by early gauges revealed by Boxofficeindia.com, the film gathered around Rs 11-11.50 crore on its first day.
The teaser of the film is expected to drop soon but since everything is being guarded so closely, fans do not even have a hint of what their favourite superstars will look like in the film.
Hrithik Roshan who is reprising the real Anand Kumar, come up to our expectations, breaking the barriers of doubt. (Rs 25.51 crore), Agneepath (Rs 22.85 crore) and Krrish 3 (Rs 19.62 crore).

On the box office Super 30 is competing with Shahid Kapoor's Kabir Singh which is going really strong, Ayushmann Khurrana's Article 15 and Hollywood film Spider-Man: Far From Home. The top three highest day one grossers above Super 30 are Bang Bang! That might be a bit of a challenge for the Hrithik Roshan film as the movie does not have an A-lister as its female lead. Hrithik Roshan's appearance and his accent have also not found many takers.
Super 30 is a film that has been inspired from the life of Bihar's popular teacher, Anand Kumar and his classes.
Nevertheless, the film has a long way to go before the decision is out.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead besides Aditya Shrivastava and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles.
