So when Forbes released the list of "The World's Highest-Paid Celebrities" and we saw Akshay Kumar as the only Indian celebrity in the list, and it was not a surprise for us. The mag says her estimated pay increased an insane 131% from the year before, when she made a paltry $80 mil. She also recently moved from her old label, Big Machine Records, to Universal's Republic Records. The rest of the top 10 in this order: Kylie Jenner, Kanye West, Lionel Messi, Ed Sheeran, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, The Eagles, Dr Phil McGraw and Canelo Alvarez.

Social media and reality TV star Kylie Jenner is ranked second on the list with an estimated pre-tax pay packet of $170m (£136m). The actor featured on the list for being Bollywood's highest-paid entertainer with earnings of United States dollars 65 million or Rs 444 crore.

Luke Bryan comes in at No. 78, earning $42.5 million from his What Makes You Country Tour, the No. 1 album of the same name and an endorsement deal with Chevrolet, while Zac Brown Band clocked in at No. 95.by raking in $38.5 million, much of which came from 50 live shows the group performed that earned around $1 million per tour stop.

A lot of that money comes from her Reputation Stadium World Tour, which wrapped up a year ago and brought in $345 million internationally into the Swift camp.

Earlier this year, Jenner earned a place on Forbes' list of the world's richest self-made women thanks to an estimated net worth of around $1 billion (£800m). The 21-year-old is No. 2,057 on the magazine's billionaires list, a ranking that does not include Swift. West re-entered the list after 4 years, mostly owing to his Yeezy sneaker line.

The Forbes list, released Wednesday, ranks 100 celebrities, including musicians, film stars, athletes and comedians.
