Rule-breaking contestant kicked off Love Island

One person wrote: "Unless what Sherif did was really bad (I do not know what happened) isn't Love Island not telling us what happened to him just going to add to speculation, possibly adding to a negative impact on his mental health?"

On Sunday nights, spin-off show Aftersun airs at 10PM with Caroline Flack.

ITV have denied "fighting" is the reason Sherif left.

Rumours have been flying since Sherif's shock exit from the show yesterday.

The claims come after Sherif appeared to jokingly reveal that he's set to jet off on a lads' holiday to Makarska, Croatia after being kicked off Love Island.

United Kingdom broadcaster ITV has confirmed that the show's producers and Lanre "mutually agreed" that he would leave.

The chef, 20, said he agreed with the show bosses to leave the series after nine days in the villa.

Anna also barely featured after being coupled up with him up until he left the show.

A statement from Love Island reads, "After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa".

There will now be two Irish singletons on Love Island when Maura joins fellow islander, Dublin Scientist Yewande Biala.

'In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.

It's unknown which rules Sherif broke specifically, but a spokesperson for the programme confirmed his departure to MailOnline on Tuesday.

Love Island returns to Virgin Media Two tonight from 9pm.

A source told the paper: "He's been refusing to get up and take part in chats with the others and said he didn't like any of them". Having entered the villa in search of love and a shared prize of £50,000, the 28-year old has admitted she would go for personality and would look for someone who is really honest and confident, but not arrogant and definitely someone who makes her laugh.
