Ubisoft unleashed their first cinematic trailer for Gods & Monsters with a female protagonist. The playful, welcoming art style, the green rolling hills with an always-inviting horizon, and the small, unimposing hero at its core all bring Nintendo's 2017 masterpiece to mind. "Today, with Gods & Monsters, the tales we all love and know so well become a reality to be explored like never before".
Gods & Monsters is a new game from the Assassin's Creed Odyssey devs.
In Gods and Monsters players take control of Fenyx, a hero who must restore power to the Greek Gods after they have been stolen from them by Typhos. "To do it, you have to venture into the Underworld and defeat Typhon and his minions".More news: Pro-Brexit protester storms McVey’s Tory leadership launch

Gods & Monsters takes place on the Isle of the Blessed, which is far from a sun-baked Greek holiday resort. The few gameplay screenshots shared of Gods & Monsters show a lovely, green open world colored with a bright, painterly style. If executed correctly, it promises to be highly effective in building out Gods & Monsters' extensive open world - a world we're told is several times bigger than Assassin's Creed Syndicate's, but not quite of the scale of Odyssey's.
Gods & Monsters launches on February 25, 2020. That's easier said than done, though, as the beast is flanked by numerous creatures including gorgons, harpies, cyclopes, and other mythical horrors. Gods and Monsters will also be available as part of Ubisoft's newly announced subscription service Uplay+.
