The Nuclear Winter mode will be free for all Fallout 76 players. The development team explained that Year 1 of Fallout 76 is about leaving the vault and exploring the wasteland, and Year 2 is about reclaiming it. "And while you can carry your Adventure Mode character into Nuclear Winter, their level doesn't affect how much damage you can inflict or receive". Like past Fallout titles such as Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Fallout 4, you'll have dialogue trees that give you options for you to interact with and respond to the people you meet.
