Nokia to reportedly launch two 5G smartphones this year


However, today, we can see that Nokia has built its reputation as a new generation smartphone company and people are no longer hesitant in buying its devices.

Touting it as the cheapest Android One smartphone, on 6 June, HMD Global launched the new Nokia 2.2 smartphone in India. The new software update package is around 400MB in size and is o=mostly focused on UI enhancements and improves the overall stability of the phones.

Nokia 2.2 is the latest Android One Handset by HMD Global. Nokia is emphasising on the fact that smartphone is Android Q ready and would receive the update for it as soon as it starts rolling out later this year. It's the dedicated Google Assistant button along the left edge and it can be used to contact the Assistant without saying anything. The phone features a 5.71-inch display with smaller bezels and a resolution of 720 x 1,520 pixels. Even though the line between those two devices might seem thin, Nokia 3.2 has much better hardware, especially the 3/32GB version. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expanding the storage up to 128GB.

In another report by NPU, the Nokia 3.2 is also said to be receiving an identical update in terms of features. While on the front we have a 5 mega pixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. This consists of a 13-megapixel f/2.2 primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. HMD Global has announced multiple times its software update roadmap and recently in March this year, the Android 9 Pie was rolled out for the Nokia 3.1.

Unfortunately, as both the Nokia 3.1 A and 3.1 C have been carrier-customized, they are not officially part of the Android One program. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. On the front of the device there is a 5 megapixel camera for Selfies, on the back there is an 8 megapixel camera for photos and videos.
