Marvel’s Avengers, Leaked the Release Date?

The Quiet Man was never destined to be a big game, yet Square Enix chose to incorporate it in its E3 conference a year ago.

There is good news for the Marvel fans as The Avengers Project was first announced as part of a new partnership with Marvel Entertainment and Square Enix early a year ago.

It's hard to say if it will be Marvel's Avengers, formerly known as The Avengers Project, or the highly-anticipated Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Final Fantasy VII Remake actually has some gameplay videos, so we know that it will be an action RPG now. Announcing new IP and games in E3 is as vital as showing-off new footage of games that people are dying to see. Marvel's Avengers is being developed by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal, and it's being published by Square Enix.

Just like Final Fantasy XV was a large project with a recent conclusion, the release of Shadow of the Tomb Raider and all of its expansions takes it off the plate as well.

That information comes from the game's official Twitter account, which posted an image of the billboard-like advert early this morning.

Final Fantasy. There's a good chance there will be a lot of it too.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake was first announced in E3 2015 and has yet to be released.

The most intriguing card in Square's hand is its top-secret Avengers game, which we've heard little about since its announcement in 2017. Maybe it's time to finally give fans what they want?

After three years away from the E3 spotlight, Square Enix returned in 2018 with a pre-recorded, Direct-style showcase. Hype for the franchise is near an all-time high following the massive success of Endgame, making E3 the flawless time for Square to finally pull back the curtain on its superhero-sized project.
