And yet, a coffee shop she once worked for went out of business past year, in part due to the exorbitant minimum wage in New York City.

Fighting words: Amazon's clapback at Ocasio-Cortez isn't an isolated incident.

Amazon didn't immediately respond to a request for additional comment.
