Keanu Reeves may have left Stephen Colbert speechless with his wise words over mortality but the actor had been unaware about him being named as social media's latest obsession.

In Twitter you can see photos, which Reeves poses with women, including Dolly parton, but his hand hung in the air, and not lay on their waist.

Add that to a viral story about him going out of his way to sign an autograph for a teen who was too shy to ask, it's safe to say Keanu is fast becoming one of the most beloved Hollywood stars.

If you've been on the internet at all this week, you know that people can not get enough of actor Keanu Reeves.

"That's, uh, that's wacky", he said.

PewDiePie has taken to Twitter to point out something that has escaped our attention for so long - Keanu and Elon appear to share the same name.

"He's, like, a legit movie star, but a gentleman, and one of the most thoughtful actors we ever worked with", producer Jonas Rivera told USA Today at the Los Angeles premiere of the film on Tuesday. "The positivity is great".

Now, while there has been a John Wick crossover event in Fortnite, that wasn't until very recently.

"It's been really nice and special for me". With his cameo in the romcom Always Be My Maybe to his electrifying E3 appearance, the internet can't seem to get enough of him. "Ali Wong and Randall Park (are) just really wonderful artists and people, and it was really cool to get a chance to play with them", he said. Reeves lends his voice to the new character Duke Caboom - a Canadian stuntman toy with some seriously articulated points - in the highly anticipated Toy Story 4, the conclusion to the Toy Story franchise.
