Jessica Biel says she is ‘not against vaccinations’ following backlash

In 2007, Biel and singer Justin Timberlake began dating.

The California Senate welcomed Jessica Biel on Wednesday to discuss a controversial bill that would limit medical exemptions for vaccinations.

She said her "concern" with SB277 is "solely regarding medical exemptions" - and is a personal issue.

The pair were voicing their opposition to a vaccine bill which seeks to limit medical exemptions in California and make it more hard for parents to bypass the rules requiring children to be vaccinated before enrolling in school.

But Biel's Instagram comments also saw messages of support from those in the anti-vaccination community, with one mom thanking her for "taking a stand for freedom and children's health".

The bill, introduced by State Senator Richard Pan, proposes that by 2021, licensed physicians and surgeons statewide must use a standardized medical exemption request form, and that this form becomes the only one accepted by the state government.

In laymen's terms, it would stop anti-vaxx parents from making baseless claims about why they're not vaccinating their children, because they would be required to have exemptions filtered through a medical professional.

"The biggest problem with the bill, which is something I think Jessica is concerned with", Kennedy said, "is that a doctor who has made a determination - if he has found children in this state whose doctors have determined that they're too fragile to receive vaccinations - this bill would overrule the doctors and force them to be vaccinated anyways". In a series of nine photos together, Robert F. Kennedy's son gave a peek at his day with the 7th Heaven actress as they met with California lawmakers like Autumn Burke to lobby against SB-276. Does Jessica Biel believe in not vaccinating her child, and what is her 2019 net worth?

Miz Biel concluded her post with a call to action, asking everyone to do their research on SB277 and continue the conversation about it. "I support children getting vaccinations and I also support families having the right to make educated medical decisions for their children alongside their physicians". Not because I don't believe in vaccinations, but because I believe in giving doctors and the families they treat the ability to decide what's best for their patients and the ability to provide that treatment. Most people who spoke were opponents of the bill who said vaccines had hurt their children, the Times reported.

In 2015, reports claimed Biel and Timberlake planned to bypass vaccinations for their son, though the stars have never confirmed the reports.
