The source asserted that since the two always kept their relationship out of the spotlight, not a lot of people knew that they were having troubles.

Before performing Shallow, the hit song from A Star is Born, Gaga said: "One more thing, be kind or f**k off".

During Cooper's speech at London's Royal Albert Hall back in February, the actor and director - who picked up a BAFTA for Best Film Music - thanked Shayk for being by his side throughout filming.

Rumours of a romance between the two came shortly after their emotional performance of Shallow from A Star Is Born at the Oscars.

Fans have long speculated about the chemistry between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.

Clearly keeping busy, on Saturday, Shayk posted several photos and videos from her trip to Iceland with the Italian clothing brand Falconeri.

"Ever since then, Irina has not been able to trust Bradley at all", a source admitted, adding that while Shayk was well aware that "things were bad" she still "wanted him to commit and get married and show her more affection in public". The source asserted that it felt like they weren't truly making a life together outside of the child. "If he was in L.A., she's out of town, and if she was in town, he was out of town".
