A bunch of new MacBooks seem to be on the way

Apple has filed for several new Mac models with the Eurasian Economic Commission database; in the past, these registrations have been a precursor to product announcements only a few months later.

Apple could also refresh its MacBook Air models, which were last updated in October of a year ago with a new Renita Display, as well as Touch ID and an all-new design, so perhaps a refresh is on its way to improve performance and introduce Apple's new butterfly keyboard? The models, with numbers A2141, A2147, A2158, A2159, A2179, A2182, and A2251, all point to "portable personal computers of the brand "Apple", French-speaking site ConsoMac noted. For some fans, the lack of a 17-inch notebook has left a gaping hole in Apple's hardware lineup since it killed off the largest MacBook to date in 2012.

If any (or all) of these models make it to market, we'd expect that they'll be announced this fall, perhaps during an event in September or October, if history holds.

The current MacBook rumors, though, suggest that 2019 could see a 16-inch MacBook Pro and a new MacBook keyboard design.

Holding out for a new MacBook? The other Models would be of the existing MacBook Air or a new range, we don't know about that.

Speculation is rife that Apple will launch an updated version of 12-inch MacBook this year.

Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the most respected Apple analysts out there, predicted that Apple would launch a 31.6-inch 6K display and a 16-inch MacBook Pro this year.

Apple could also launch a new MacBook Air with upgraded specs.

However, none of that happened.
