As shots are fired, Lil Nas X dives through a tunnel that's a portal to the modern world.

Unfortunately, though, the capsule collection, which takes inspiration from Nas X's Wrangler-mentioning breakout single, "Old Town Road", has upset more than a few Wrangler customers and country fans.

In late March, "Old Town Road" was removed from consideration for Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, causing an online uproar over whether or not the song is "country", and if race played a factor in Billboard's decision. This leads Lil Nas X on an Alice in Wonderland-style adventure down a rabbit hole that leads him to the Old Town Road in 2019. It's here. A horse drag racing a vehicle? Dressed in his Old West gear, he rides his horse down the city street, drawing confused looks as he passes.

Other stars in the video include rappers Rico Nasty, Vince Staples, Jozzy, music producer Joungkio, and singer Haha Davis.

Lil Nas X, born Montero Lamar Hill, is riding the wave of the song, which first went viral on the TikTok app. The song charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart before being disqualified for not meeting the criteria for the genre, which sparked a debate on the issue.
