Sophie Turner Blames Emilia Clarke for 'Game of Thrones' Coffee Cup Mishap

The eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones" has broken records for HBO, with more than 38 million American watching the season premiere episode that was broadcast on April 14.

In the interview with Fallon, Turner responded to a video call from husband and self-proclaimed "biggest fan" Joe Jonas, who asked what the deal was with the cup?

Sansa Stark is not going down without a fight.

Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in Game Of Thrones, was in the crowd at the Toyota Center to see the Rockets take on the Golden State Warriors, when she was noticed by Clutch the Bear.

We don't know which is the best response to the final season of "Game of Thrones".

HBO had removed what appeared to be a Starbucks coffee cup from the period drama after it was roasted on social media for the error. The anachronism that happened in the last episode, the great Starbucks coffee cup fiasco, escalated to such a level, that HBO had to explain themselves for it. Dunno. But a courageous Fallon pointed his finger at Turner after she was pictured with a coffee cup on set with Bella Ramsey, AKA Lyanna Mormont.

However, Turner said in a spoiler moment why she couldn't have been the culprit based on the Ramsey photo.

Emilia, 32, stepped out in LA after sharing a backstage pic of herself with castmates Peter Dinklage and Jason Momoa - holding a coffee cup. "That's in a different episode", she said.

To me, it's unclear if Emilia Clarke is saying she wore armor at some point or if it's an offhand comment by Nathalie Emmanuel. Turner said she received just one text from Nikolaj Coster-Waldau who plays Jamie Lannister, which read, "G$3 reat episode, is that a coffee cup?"

Let's hope no more rogue cups of tea are left in Winterfell in the last two episodes.
