Ric Flair has surgery postponed due to 'complications'

TMZ Sports states that Ric Flair was in Atlanta at the time of the medical emergency. In the history of wrestling Ric Flair had a promising career and active involvement in the sport. So the surgery will be taking place on Monday. By the looks of it, there isn't any complication post-surgery. Flair was hospitalized Thursday after reportedly suffering a medical emergency, his wife confirmed. The event is scheduled for next Friday night, May 24.

According to TMZ Sports, Ric Flair was rushed to the hospital on Thursday for an undisclosed health issue. Conrad noted that Flair wanted to do the surgery this week, instead of next week after he returned from Starrcast.

Following the scare that left wrestling fans anxious, Flair's wife, Wendy Barlow, issued a statement saying she expected her husband to make a full recovery. Ric went to the hospital due to long-time health complication, and he will go through operation the next day. Flair has dealt with heart issues for many years related to decades of hard partying while on the road.
