Meghan Markle and Prince Harry present new Baby Sussex

The Duchess of Sussex has declared that she has "the two best guys in the world" after giving birth to a baby boy two days ago. He says "the press turned on them" and he thinks people should be kinder because "she's a young woman who just had a baby". He's really calm and he's just been the dream.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made the big reveal, introducing their newborn son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, to the public during a brief interview with TV reporters at Windsor Castle on Wednesday afternoon.

Meghan and Harry's child will not have a royal title.

Markle wore a white sleeveless dress, while Prince Harry sported a grey suit.

Baby Sussex was born Monday at 5:26 a.m. (0426 GMT; 12:26 a.m. EDT) at an as-yet-undisclosed location.

The royals are no strangers to nicknames (Prince Harry's real name is Henry and Kate Middleton's full name is Catherine) - and Princess Charlotte has a sweet moniker at home: Lottie.

"I'm so incredibly proud of my wife and as every father and parent would ever say, your baby is absolutely fantastic, but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I'm just over the moon", he told reporters.

Royal family members sent well wishes and congratulations to the new parents after the announcement of the birth.

Harry said "Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks. Parenting is incredible. It's only been two and a half days, three days, but we're just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy".

Harry gave a statement yesterday, revealing: "It's been the most awesome experience I could ever possibly imagine".

Royal baby Sussex is the very first royal baby for Markle and Harry, Duke of Sussex, who tied the knot in May 2018. Just a handful of British media were there, as well as the American outlet CBS.

The new baby, who is seventh in line to the throne, is Queen Elizabeth's eighth great-grandchild. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might have known that, if they name their son Arthur, they will likely call him Archie.
