Jose Mourinho SWIPES at Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp over Champions League failure

Mauricio Pochettino insists no decision will be made on his Tottenham future until after the Champions League final.

Liverpool want Ryan Sessegnon this summer but are resigned to the fact he will join Tottenham Hotspur instead, according to Goal.

Liverpool will also use Real Madrid's training ground on the morning of the final, which will be played at Atletico Madrid's stadium, the Wanda Metropolitano.

Some media have already carried the news that the negotiations with Mauricio Pochettino are in an advanced stage, but it often proves hard to negotiate with his club Tottenham.

"Ahead of the final, we will train at Valdebebas [Real's training complex] and sleep in a nearby hotel", he told El Partidazo de Cope.

No doubt Mauricio Pochettino will give them every opportunity to prove their fitness as it would be a massive boost for Tottenham to have Kane, Vertonghen and Sanchez all available as they look to win the Champions League for the first time in the clubs history.

Speaking on Spanish radio on Thursday, Pochettino inferred that Perez had intervened to stop the team staying at the Valdebebas facility's residences because he had turned down Madrid in the past.

"All the requests made to Real Madrid were solely and exclusively about the use of training pitches and dressing rooms at Ciudad Real Madrid, and they were all conceded by our club".

Liverpool reached last year's Champions League final, only to lose 3-1 to Real Madrid after losing Mohamed Salah to a shoulder injury in the first-half.

In a light-hearted part of the interview, Pochettino was asked if Tottenham's players would also stay at Valdedebas. He did however re-emphasise that he wants assurances over Spurs' long-term plans and ambition before committing his future to the club. "And that at no time has our club been requested that these teams could be accommodated in the facilities of Ciudad Real Madrid".

Liverpool are the most disliked team in the Premier League, an unofficial study has found.

Jose Mourinho believes Tottenham could go on a trophy spree if they can win the Champions League final next week.
