Giuliani now says he won't press Biden investigation in Ukraine

Several Democrats took to social media to say they were appalled Giuliani was openly cultivating a relationship with foreign entities to try to discredit a potential 2020 presidential rival, on the heels of investigations by Mueller and Congress into contacts between Russian Federation and the Trump campaign during the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton. In a letter to the Congress, he announced that the investigators had not revealed any signs of collusion between the Russian Federation and D. Trump's campaign headquarters.

In the Fox News interview, Giuliani said he won't go to Ukraine, "in order to remove any political suggestion".

Sen. Chris Murphy, who called for a Senate query on Giuliani's proposed trip to Ukraine before it was canceled, tweeted, "I know we've become numb to the corruption of this Administration, but this story should be the total focus of the political class today. It's just appalling", House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said Friday.

Why did Giuliani cancel his trip? He re-opened the case this spring in the midst of Ukraine's presidential campaign in what was seen as an effort to win Trump administration support for Poroshenko.

He also said he had not yet spoken to Giuliani about his lawyer's plans to go to Kiev, which Giuliani would cut short a few hours later, but that he was interested in the trip.

Who knows what the Ukrainians will feed him? "Ukrainians are investigating and your fellow Dems are interfering. Let's answer it now".

"I've decided. I'm not going to go to the Ukraine", Giuliani told Fox News Friday night.
