"There is a time for everything and you have to accept it".

Bayern Munich have been crowned champions of the German Bundesliga after defeating Eintracht Frankfurt on the final day of the season.

Proud coach Niko Kovac said: "Thanks to my team and our fans, we did a great job".

Ribery was honored for 10 years of service before the game, and Robben for 12, and both wingers repaid the tributes after coming on as second-half substitutes.

The process is already underway with World Cup winners Lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard arriving from Atletico Madrid and Stuttgart, respectively, to shore up the defense.

Ribery, on his way in the summer, ended his long and distinguished Bayern career when he replaced Coman, and Robben followed suit as he came on for Gnabry. "Even if the season was not so easy, we deserve to be German champion".

But less than 180 seconds later, David Alaba restored Bayern's lead before Renato Sanches made it three five minutes later.

Moments later, Arjen Robben grabbed one himself to complete an emotional afternoon.
