Lil Nas X Hints At Beyoncé Collaboration & The Beyhive Is Perplexed

Lil Nas X hinted that he is working on new music with Beyonce.

Will Smith even got in on things by fusing clips of his Wild Wild West movie with "Old Town Road", telling Lil Nas X that he wants a feature in the remix's music video, should there ever be one.

The smash hit "Old Town Road" by the previously unknown artist Lil Nas X was streamed more than 46 million times in the week ending April 4, industry tracker Billboard says. "You know, you're taking that horse to Old Town Road".

Afterward, people on the internet rallied for Lil Nas X, saying it was wrong for him to be taken off because of its differences compared to numerous songs in the country genre.

But following Billy Ray Cyrus' remix of the song, rapper Young Thug has revealed his own version during an Instagram Live and it sounds so good.

The same day, the duo dropped their remix of the track, which now includes Cyrus's vocals.

After that, it was time for the legend to shine. He also said he would see him all over the universe. At time of writing, "Old Town Road" is sitting at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Right now, many on Twitter are going insane for the song and the hype is not looking like it is going to die down anytime soon.

To my ears, "Old Town Road" is just as country as it is rap. When asked what country is to them, T.J. Osborne responded "certainly not that" with regards to Lil Nas X, before explaining that country radio success is a long process that many artists spend years trying to achieve.

Which leads to the conclusion that the only reason for "Old Town Road" to be pulled off the country charts is fear.
