The Coachella fire occurred near the center of the Empire Polo Club grounds venue, at a mobile shower unit. Luckily, as reported by Billboard, the fire resulted in no injuries or deaths. How the fire started wasn't immediately clear.

According to effect of Sound, the fire was a result of one of the mobile showers experiencing "mechanical failure of a heating unit". "The water heater for the shower just exploded and caught fire at Coachella literally 10 mins before I got out..."

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, firefighters arrived at the Lot 8 storage area to find a shower unit engulfed in flames. The line-up of the event is pretty impressive: thus, Ariana Grande and Tame Impala will be the headliners over the weekend, with Khalid, Janelle Monáe, Kacey Musgraves, Blackpink, Bad Bunny, and Idris Elba among the participants.

Grande recently sampled NSYNC's song, "It Makes Me Ill", off their "No Strings Attached" album for her current single, "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" - which they also performed at Coachella.
