The Honor 8S does not feature a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, and the smartphone is most likely to feature FaceUnlock, based on the 5 MP selfie camera to provide added security to the smartphone. It is the company's latest budget phone, which packs a waterdrop style notched display, a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, a 6-inch HD+ panel, Android 9 Pie OS, and more.
Chinese smartphone maker and Huawei's sub-brand Honor on Monday announced to launch a new "Honor 20 series" globally at a London event on May 21. As for the Honor 20 Lite speculation, this suggests the phone will be basically a Huawei P30 Lite with a micro-USB port rather than a USB-C port. "There is no info on the Honor 20 Pro but we expect a bigger display, a bigger battery, and a different camera configuration", reports GizmoChina. There could also be Honor 20 Lie and a 5G phone in the series. A HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor with Mali G76 GPU and 8GB of RAM is expected to power the device. On the back side, the device will feature a triple camera module with a 48 MP primary sensor, a 20 MP super wide-angle lens, and an 8 MP telephoto lens. On the front, we could also see a 32 MP camera and it might come with a display cutout setup.
As for the battery, the Honor 8S is said to be powered by a small 3,020mAh Li-ion battery.
The Honor 20 Lite Malaysian launch is taking place on 17th April 2019.
