Everything You Missed In the Game of Thrones' Season 8 Premiere

If the show's final season can manage to top that, then "Game of Thrones" really will be going out on a high. And now it's time to journey back into the wild podcasting world of EW's Game of Thrones Weekly, where we spend every Monday discussing the latest events in Westeros (and beyond).

In a behind the scenes video from Game of Thrones called, The Game Revealed, Kit also revealed that he had a bit of a NSFW accident during the now iconic dragon-riding scene on the first episode of series 8.

The eighth season, which sees Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke, teach Jon Snow how to train her dragons, features a mechanical dragon swing the actors through the air. "Jon Snow learns in the first episode that he's the rightful heir to the throne", Wenzel said.

Death has many faces - and they're coming for Winterfell. There are a number of other reunions, the most riveting of which was surprisingly Sansa and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage).

According to HBO, 11.8 million viewers tuned in to the show's on-air broadcast of its season 8 premiere. I don't know how long the show is going to play this rivalry out, but for the nonce, there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. The place Jon and Daenerys landed in the North Frozen is similar to Ygritte and Jon were taking bath. While it's exciting to see these subplots set themselves up, the episode frequently lacks direction due to the constantly shifting focus.

Based on the popular book series "A Song of Ice and Fire", by George R.R. Martin, the Emmy-winning fantasy series chronicles an epic struggle for power in a vast and violent kingdom. But lucky fans with access to AT&T's streaming service, DirecTV Now, were able to watch the show four hours early.

Anyway, following Jon and Daenerys' post-dragon-riding scene in the first episode of Season 8, Reddit user u/fanofthrones5555 shared the following connection with a moment from Season 3, Episode 5.
