Cyberpunk 2077 is still a long ways away

It's not yet known if there will be new developers attending that will fill the big void EA and Sony will leave, and if not could this mark the end E3 as we know it? And it seems CD Projekt Red is more interested in waiting until it has something great, polished, and refined to show.

Today Sony Interactive Entertainment and CD Projekt RED released a brand new video focusing on the development of the upcoming first-person RPG Cyberpunk 2077.

Plus, like some of the previous videos released for the game, it's narrated by Geralt.

Miles Tost, one of the game's level designers, speaks in the video about why CD Projekt Red has kept so quiet about Cyberpunk 2077 over the years. "What we have now might not be there tomorrow". "The witches were guys, which was subjected to mutations and harsh training", he told channel PlayStation one of the Directors of the game, Tomaskovic Conrad (Konrad Tomaszkiewicz). A year later, the debut teaser came out, and then the game disappeared.

CD Projekt Red responded by saying that there are no plans for a closed or open beta at all at the moment.

CD Projekt Red will once again be making an appearance at E3 2019, and fans can expect to see more Cyberpunk 2077 goodness.

The game is supposedly going to be in development for years now. Who knows. But if you don't get too overly excited about playing Cyberpunk 2077 in the near future, you can't get hit with a wave of disappointment.
