Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes. "It seems like a 1000 years ago, I fought my way out of that cave, became Iron Man, realised I loved you". "The world has changed, none of us can go back, all we can do is our best, and sometimes the best we can do is to start over", we hear a voice say, indicating perhaps that the MCU is in for a reboot, following the introduction of alternate realities and dimensions.
This article contains spoilers for Captain Marvel. The real-life Tony Stark sent the tweet out to Avengers co-star Chris Evans and you can check out their awesome back-and-forth in the post below. The film is slated for an April 26 release.
