$448 million jackpot up for grabs in Wednesday's Powerball drawing

A jackpot victor will match numbers on all five white balls and the Powerball.

The Powerball jackpot keeps on rising with a prize of almost half a billion dollars.

· The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday, Mar. 15, with an estimated jackpot of $40 million and cash option of $24.1 million.

Wednesday's winning numbers are 18, 36, 45, 47, 69 with 14 as the Powerball. The lump sum payment before taxes would be about $271.7 million. The third ticket, sold in Florida, is worth $2 million because the purchaser paid extra for the Power Play.

One third-prize ticket worth $50,000 was sold in New Jersey at the 7-Eleven store on Huyler Street in South Hackensack. Two of those tickets were sold in NY and are worth $1 million each. One ticket matched all five white numbers with the optional Power Play and is $2 million. Now, he's going to chill out.

The Wednesday, March 13th jackpot is now up to an estimated $448 million.

Lottery officials say two lucky people in NY won $1 million, while one person in Florida took home $2 million after matching some of the numbers. The last jackpot was won December 26 by David Johnson, a 56-year-old supermarket worker from Brooklyn, New York, who hit for a $298.3 million jackpot.

The Rolling Cash 5 jackpot for the next drawing is $181,000 for hitting all five numbers and the odds of winning are 1-in-575,757.

Powerball is offered in 44 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
