Why Bebe Rexha Won’t Filter Herself After Fashion Revelation

"I just did the [Instagram] video because I was really heartbroken and it bummed me out because they said I was too big or fat", she told Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet. The 29-year-old didn't only look like a princess out of a fairytale, but clearly her dress was also comfy as she herself had mentioned.

"I'm so nervous I could die", she wrote.

When Ryan asked the pop star about the reaction she got to her video, she said, "It's been unbelievable". "I really didn't expect that, so my size 8 a** is here on the red carpet".

"So I finally get nominated at the Grammys, and it's like the coolest thing ever", New York-born Rexha stated in a video uploaded to her Instagram account in January.

All eyes had been on Rexha for the past month, when she called out a number of unspecified designers for declining to dress her for the Grammy Awards because she is a size 8. But don't say you can't dress someone that isn't a runway size.

Bebe Rexha - who is nominated for Best New Artist and Best Collaboration for "Meant to Be" with Florida Georgia Line - turned heads in a plunging red Monsoori dress with tulle, accessorizing with a stunning diamond necklace and matching earrings and bracelet.

"It's been wonderful. I didn't expect it", she told E! I just want other girls to love their bodies.

There's one awards show that always takes fashion to the next level and that's the GRAMMYs!

"At the end of the day, I truly believe what is inside and the music you're making and the art you're making (is what counts)", Rexha said during the segment. However, a little after receiving her nominations, she we shocked to discover that many designers did not want to dress her. "But they're both puffy so I can eat whatever I want".
