Michelle Obama Has Hilarious Texts With Her Mom About Grammys

The conversation about how Robinson apparently heard about her daughter's Grammy appearance from someone other than her daughter was highly relatable to many people.

Michelle Obama drew such loud cheers during her surprise appearance at the Grammys she had to quieten the audience and restart her speech.

Tuesday, she shared a text exchange with her mother about it on Instagram.

Robinson replied: 'I saw it because Gracie called me.

After a text squabble over whether Michelle had told Marian she would be appearing on the show, she ended with a mic drop moment. "I would have remembered that even though I don't remember much".
