Disney's 'Frozen 2' fires up a fun first trailer

For the first time in forever - or roughly six years - Frozen is back on the horizon.

The icy sequel looks to make Elsa (and possibly Anna) superheroes - but it is only a teaser trailer.

The trailer shows Elsa (Menzel) attempting to wade through the ocean and some very mountainous waves. Joining them will be Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld) and Sterling K. Brown (The Predator).

Bell and Menzel return once again to voice Anna and Elsa, alongside Gad as chatty snowman Olaf and Groff as hunky mountain-man Kristoff.

The original film was released in 2013 and grossed over $1.2 billion at the box office. "Frozen" was adapted as a Broadway musical in 2018, where it was nominated for three Tonys.

The film reunites directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck with Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who wrote the songs for both movies. If this is anything to go by Frozen 2 looks set to be a grand, mythical adventure story. Check out that and a new poster below.

The movie will hit theaters just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday on November 22, 2019.
