Based on true events the film follows the story of India's covert operation carried out as retribution for the devastating Uri attack. The film opened on a great and was given thumbs-up by the critics and audience.
In spite of being a newbie in the film industry, Vicky Kaushal has managed to win the hearts of his audience right from his debut film "Masaan" to delivering some phenomenal performances in "Raazi", "Sanju" and "Manmarziyaan". Uri: The Surgucal Strike has earns over Rs 8.20 crore at the box office collection on Day 1.
Vicky also praised his co-actors and director Aditya Dhar for being part of the film. The film hit the theatres yesterday as it was scheduled to be released on 11th January 2019, Friday.
