Thugs Of Hindostan, which is said to be Bollywood's most expensive movie - made on a budget of Rs 200 crores, had a blockbuster opening day but made Rs 28 crore, Rs 22 crore and Rs 17 crore on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Despite being the biggest opener of 2018 by raking in Rs 52 crore (including Tamil and Telugu-dubbed versions) on its opening day, the numbers at the box office are deteriorating with each passing day.
The film will continue to suffer over the next few days and also in the second week when business could be next to nothing and it could stay below the 150 crore nett mark which actually should have been covered in the extended weekend even if the film was just decent.
It is safe to say, that while ToH managed to reap in the benefits of the Diwali season, it failed to maintain the influx in the following days and the rest is in front of you.More news: New TOY STORY 4 Trailer Introduces Key & Peele's Ducky And Bunny

It is to be noted, the three-day collections of the film stood lower than Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju and Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai. The film recorded the third highest advance booking at around Rs 27.50 crore on its first day. Bad word-of-the-mouth reviews has made it tough for the Aamir Khan-Amitabh Bachchan film to survive at theatres.
