Saints fear Achilles tear for Bryant

Dez Bryant's tenure with the Saints may have been short-lived.

Dez Bryant #88 of the Dallas Cowboys walks off the field after their 20-17 win over the Oakland Raiders during their National Football League game at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on December 17, 2017 in Oakland, California.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team has not announced any details of Bryant's medical exam. "I won't question the man upstairs. this is the ultimate test. thank you everyone for the prayers".

The 30-year-old signed with the Saints on Wednesday following a workout in New Orleans a day earlier.

NFL Network's Jane Slater reports, "Sources informed me Dez Bryant was coming out of a routine route when it happened". It's up to them to help get him the Super Bowl ring he signed with New Orleans for. And the Saints reportedly fear he could actually be done for the year with a torn Achilles.

This is a potential huge disappointment for Bryant who was not only excited to join a possible Super Bowl team but looking forward to a homecoming on November 29 when the Saints played the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
