The royals were welcomed by dignitaries at the airport as Prince Charles inspected the Guard of Honor.

In the evening, The Prince and Duchess were hosted by The President of Ghana at a State Dinner to celebrate the visit, where they both took to the dance floor.

"The decision to exit the European Union", the President noted, "has justifiably generated anxieties across the globe".

The couple's three-day visit to Nigeria is part of their nine-day tour of Africa.

It was also gathered that the visit was aimed at strengthening the ties between Nigeria and the Britain as members of the Commonwealth.

Prince Charles first visited Ghana in March 1977 to attend the Golden Jubilee of Achimota School, formerly 'The Prince of Wales College, ' and a durbar in his honour in Kumasi by His Majesty Otumfuo Nana Opoku Ware II.

At the moment United Kingdom is now Ghana's fifth trading partner. In a post shared on Twitter, the photograph is spotted resting in a frame inside of the Government House in Wellington.

Charles said returning to Kumasi brought back fond memories of time he spent in the city 41 years ago.

The Duchess of Cornwall put on a glamorous display in a pale pink Anna Valentine gown and her Van Cleef & Arpels Snowflake earrings and pendant necklace, while her husband sported a black tux.
