OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Variant Announced With 8GB Of RAM

It joins the OnePlus 6T's other two colour options - Midnight Black and Mirror Black. Unfortunately, OnePlus didn't announce the color variant at the launch event.

We hope it does, though, as this color scheme looks like the bee's knees. OnePlus 6T Product Manager Louis S in the same session highlighted that receiving an IP certification increases the cost the cost of the device by $30 (roughly Rs. 2,200) that isn't of company's aim at the present stage. So far though, Thunder Purple was reportedly being listed on the OnePlus India official page.

OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple variant could be launched soon.

The launch of OnePlus 6T marked several firsts for the Chinese smartphone maker - first phone to get carrier support in the US, first with an in-display fingerprint scanner, first without 3.5mm headphone jack and indeed the first phone with the highest price tag. The most affordable variant of the OnePlus 6T in China comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it is priced at 3,399 Yuan, that is the Mirror Black model, as the Midnight Black and Thunder Purple variants are not available in that RAM and storage setup.

The tweets from Agarwal feature different image renders of the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple variant with a gradient look. The OnePlus 6T also comes with a "teardrop' notch, which makes it better-looking than the OnePlus 6, though that's all a matter of taste". The device also comes with dual cameras, although the secondary doesn't do much. That's a new color we haven't seen on any previous OnePlus handsets.
