Meijer’s Black Friday ad is official


Heads up, deal hunters: Walmart just announced its plans for what it calls the biggest and best shopping day of the year: Black Friday.

Not into crowds? No worries: With the exception of some low-cost items like DVDs, Walmart plans to offer the majority of its Black Friday deals online as well as in stores. Throughout Black Friday week - from November 21 for Walmart - there will be hundreds more discounts to take advantage of.

There's no word in Walmart's announcement about any guaranteed inventory, although there is mention of "more inventory" this year.

Black Friday is November 23 this year, but the biggest retailers have revealed their Thanksgiving holiday sales early.

Starting online at 10 PM ET on November 21, and expanding to brick and mortar stores the following day at 6 PM, all the hottest smartphones in the United States are getting massive discounts.

Which retailers will be taking part in Black Friday? A few Special Buy items are only available in store, so check out the sales early online and hit the stores if you need to.
