Hitman 2 gameplay launch trailer

No matter when exactly you start playing Hitman 2, you'll find a greatly expanded sequel waiting for you. Again, there's no pre-load option so you'll have to wait until the game's 10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST launch time.

As gamers might be expecting, each upgraded edition of Hitman 2 builds on the bonuses offered by the previous tier. Interactive Entertainment have rolled out the official gameplay launch trailer for Hitman 2, offering a glimpse at the various ways you can snuff out your targets as Agent 47.

Travel the globe and track your targets across exotic sandbox locations in HITMAN 2.

For the Hitman 2 Gold Edition, players will receive the expansion 2 along with the missions, sniper map, outfits, and weapons. Plus, there are definitely oddities to the presentation of Hitman 2 that suggest it was a little rushed out the door, but I can't fault the fact that it offers delicious, murderous fun right from the get go. You can now pre-order it too.

Like all Hitman games, Hitman 2 is developed by IO Interactive and is going to be published by Warner Bros. What's at launch is not the last of Hitman 2 either, with Elusive Targets (limited time hits, the first starring actor Sean Bean), and more en route for the stealthy sandbox. The time is nearly here! I played through Hitman 2 on a PS4 Pro, so I can't compare it to any other version, but this is by far my biggest complaint. For whatever reason, Hitman managed to avoid this pitfall in 2016, and two years later, Hitman 2 did as well. If you can think up a creative way to do things, the game will probably let you do your own thing.

While I would have liked to see IO Interactive take a few more risks with both the story and the mission structure, the locations are as stunning and inventive as ever, and I'm certain I'll end up assassinating my way through all of them dozens of times, especially as new live content is added in the coming weeks and months.
