Less than three months after the release of Sweetner, Ariana has already released music from her forthcoming studio album.
Ariana's promo for new song "thank u, next" appears to be based all around classic films, with the artwork for the single being based on a book from cult film "Mean Girls". She called it "far from a diss track" and proclaimed it was "the opposite".
Even though there's no confirmation, the songs certainly sounded like Ariana's voice, although it's not known who compiled the collection (i.e. a fan) or whether it was an official release that was put on by mistake.
"Thank u, next" is out now on the streaming services.
Ariana's performance has a First Wives Club theme and she dressed up in all-white alongside her back-up singers (and song co-writers) Victoria Monet and Tayla Parx. That whole presentation was fire, but she probably needed to clarify that exit a little better with DeGeneres. So half an hour before the latest episode of SNL started, Grande put her new single out into the world, and it nearly immediately became a meme to rival "me voting in 2016 vs.me voting today".More news: Driver charged in toddler deaths in crosswalk kills herself

Grande's rep then insisted the reports linking the LP to the singer were "incorrect", confirming the album was "not an Ariana release".
Ariana Grande has released the haunting new music video for her powerful song, Breathin.
"I thought we were supposed to exit", She laughed. "I'll be thanking my dad".
As yet, no-one can seem to find significance in the pseudonym Zandhr. "We're happy that you came back", Ellen said before announcing that everyone was going home with a copy of Ariana's album, Sweetener.
