One of Ball's teammates, Josh Hart, made sure to poke some fun at the 20-year-old point guard's airball on social media. I play ball. That's what I do.
"No matter who's on the court, we play a certain way".
"LeBron's book is set", he told ESPN.
Statistically, the odds favor James. "My 14- and 11-year-olds drink wine".
Lonzo Ball said he's doing what he can to be a top defender.

James and those familiar with his reasons for choosing the Lakers have dismissed the skeptics out of hand.
James simply scoffs at the notion he's thinking about anything but his day job as he begins the next chapter in one of the greatest careers in National Basketball Association history.
James, however, has been careful to rein in early expectations about what the Lakers can achieve this year, warning that any challenge to Golden State's domination of the league remains a distant speck on the horizon. "We didn't do any contact, but he's doing better and he feels good".
"That was the idea. We haven't been in the playoffs for five years and that's something Dr. Buss wouldn't have stood for". That got the crowd on their feet, as you might expect. After James was often forced to do it all on offense in Cleveland, nearly anybody on the floor for these Lakers could bring the ball up, run the break or create offense off the dribble.
"The focus and communications skills with everyone starts with LeBron", Stephenson said. "It's contagious and helps the whole team".
The Lakers kick off the 2018-2019 season on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday before they take on the Houston Rockets in their home opener on October 20.
