Thor star Chris Hemsworth was heading back to Byron Bay from Brisbane Airport on Friday, when him and his pal Luke Zocchi spotted a hitchhiker heading to the same destination. I know he is famous'.

Luke then panned the camera over to Chris sitting in the van's backseat, who said: 'We're going to Byron, we'll give him a lift!'

It's fair to say that Scott looks pretty happy in the clip.

"I'd actually never hitch hiked before", Scott told the radio show. Hemsworth jokingly asks only for a bit of gas money in return - the low price of "four grand".

In the caption, the actor said, "Picked up a hitchhiker, wasn't a serial killer which we were stoked about and just happened to be a kick ass musician Scott Hildebrand".
