The Last Remnant Remastered announced; coming west on December 6

The Last Remnant was supposed to be released on the PlayStation 3, but that never happened, probably due to the middling reviews the game garnered.

Yūsuke Naora, art producer of the original game, illustrated the remaster's key artwork. Instead, The Last Remnant featured a cruel randomized battle system that made the game near impossible to beat.

Marking 10 years since the release of the original version, Square Enix revealed The Last Remnant Remastered through a teaser trailer posted to the company's YouTube channel.

In The Last Remnant Remastered players are taken to a war torn world filled with ancient artefacts that grant mysterious powers to those who wield them.

Originally released on the Xbox 360, The Last Remnant was the first game developed by the Final Fantasy creator to utilise the Unreal Engine. Even after it changed into as soon as canceled for the console and simplest appeared on the Xbox 360 and PC, listings and rumors aloof left left us with hope. The game got a weak reception when it was released and got criticized for having low-resolution textures and textures that popped in. The Last Remnant is getting remastered and will launch this year on December 8, 2018, in Japan exclusively on PS4. Despite PC sales being suspended, the current webpage for The Last Remnant Remastered only mentions a PS4 release and a December 6, 2018 release date.
