Razer Phone 2 set to debut October 10

The company has told investors that the original Razer Phone performed well in small-sample sales and has generated enough interest for a second version. A few years back the idea would have sounded positively nutty, but last year brought us the surprising debut of the first-gen Razer Phone, a solidly equipped Android gaming handset with an extra-high-refresh-rate display.

Further support for the idea that this event will be the premiere of the Razer Phone 2 comes by way of a leaked render, surfacing earlier this week.

The Razer Phone 2 will actually arrive on 10th of October 2018 and will debut just a day after the tech giant Google's hardware event which will be held in New York City, USA.

As per the renders, the Razer Phone 2 bears a striking resemblance to its predecessor and some subtle differences are only noticeable if you look very closely. Razer thinks you are. The Razer Phone has since led to a mini-trend of high-end smartphones designed for gaming. Now, a new Razer Phone 2 image is leaked. While there is no information about the launch date of the Razer Phone 2, we expect the company to launch it in the month of November.

The Razer Phone was the first gaming-centric smartphone to grace the market, prompting other companies such as ASUS and Xiaomi to release gaming smartphones of their own.
